Certified and Experienced Texas Teacher

I am a retired Texas public school teacher, counselor, assistant principal, principal, Director of Research, Evaluation and Staff Development; and Executive Director of Special Programs. I have also been an adjunct professor of English and First Year College Experience, an educational consultant, and a program specialist in School Improvement at the Texas Education Agency.

My degrees include a B.S. in Educational Curriculum and Instruction, an M.Ed. in Counseling, an M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Supervision, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. In addition, I have Texas certifications in English, Sociology, Special Education, English as a Second Language, Counseling, Mid-Management/Principalship, and Superintendency.

I love helping children and adults achieve academic excellence through literacy, and this is my mission at Curry Tutoring.
